The Children's Therapy Center of North Jersey (CTCNJ) is specifically designed with children in mind. Our therapists are sensitive to the needs of children and our facility provides a clean, safe, kid-friendly environment. With the skills to help them engage and an environment where they feel safe, your child can meet their therapy goals without realizing that they are receiving therapeutic interventions.

Every program is unique depending on your child's needs and goals. Services may be provided individually or in small groups. Our therapists communicate with each other throughout your child's therapy in order to reinforce strategies that help them reach their goals. As parents and caregivers, you are welcome and encouraged to be active participants in the process and are supported as you navigate you family's special challenges.

Our Facility

Within a total of 4000 sq. ft., we have a state-of-the-art, 900 sq. ft. sensory gym complete with specialized swings, suspension equipment, balance equipment, scooterboards, ramps, trampoline, ball pool, Wii system, rock wall, and more. Adjacent is our 380 sq. ft. fine-motor area where we focus on fine-motor skills and activities. In addition, we have a private area for evaluations and speech and language, and an extended waiting room. Children often look forward to coming to their therapy sessions which helps to improve their focus and overall progress because they want to continue "playing".

Our Goals

Highlight the unique role of Occupational Therapy in supporting a child’s ability to engage in the activities of childhood.
Educate families and professionals about the importance of collaborative services (parents/caregivers, therapists, educators, medical professionals).
Design individual programs unique to the needs of the child in collaboration with family contributions.
